Fifth Wheel Freight & Consulting began in 2010 by two young and talented women entrepreneurs on a mission to break through their own barriers and take-on an industry dominated by men. Since 2010, they continue to travel through the highways and byways of the United States delivering goods. They run as a team operated business that continues to afford them the exciting world of trucking.
ROSE'S OTR KITCHEN
In addition to travel and work, Fifth Wheel Freight & Consulting began an online page called, Rose’s OTR Kitchen where she shares easy recipes she loves for truck drivers. Rose understood the food choices as truck drivers are very limited. She went on a mission to share not only recipes, but also different ideas to setup a cooking space in a confined space. Most Forward Air terminals have kitchens & showers and are located in major metropolitan cities; and are even located near major retail stores and restaurants. The best part? You are not constantly attached to a trailer. Getting to these retail and restaurant establishments can be easy by bobtailing and using your personal conveyance.
Team Drivers average about 5200 miles per week. As team drivers for Fifth Wheel Freight & Consulting, they offer a navigation system through their onboard electronic system, a dorm size refrigerator, and portable toilets. Hometime? No problem! They work with Forward Air to get you home on time so you don’t miss those important events.
